Our journey began way back in middle school, where we first met, but it wasn’t until 2008, after college, that we reconnected and started dreaming big together. One shared vision stood out: starting a photography business and one day opening our own studio.
In 2010, that dream began to take shape when Chad was approached by Oakshade Raceway to serve as the track photographer. It was the spark we needed to take the leap and turn our vision into reality. Over the next two racing seasons, we poured our hearts into capturing the thrill and energy of the track, all while preparing for the next chapter of our journey.
In 2012, everything shifted with the arrival of our first child. Inspired by the joy of new beginnings, we transitioned our focus to portraits and weddings, where we could capture the beautiful milestones and love stories of others.
By 2015, we had moved into our first studio space—a dream come true! Since then, we’ve been incredibly grateful for the growth we’ve experienced, the amazing families we’ve met, and the countless smiles we’ve been privileged to capture. It’s been a journey filled with love, creativity, and connection, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

Hello!
Chad's fascination with the darkroom led him to pursue several photography classes at Owens Community College. For our Oakshade fans, you may remember him as a 13 year old Bomber racer back in the late 1990’s.
Chad's specializations include weddings, events, competitive sports, commercial photography, and he dabbles in videography.
Tara graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education and Photography, along with 2 years of Graphic Design studies. Several of her night photographs from her BFA Senior Thesis were selected for juried shows and have won awards.
Tara's focus is on newborn, baby, and family photography.
